Famous author of the bestsellers “Bone Grafting in Oral Implantology”, “Controversial Topics in Implant Dentistry” distributed throughout the world, and “Advanced Surgery in Implantology”.

Dr. Hernández Alfaro is one of the most experienced surgeons of the world in treating maxillofacial deformities (orthognathic surgery) and, together with his team, he has developed and published many oral and maxillofacial surgical techniques. He is a regular speaker  at international congresses on orthognathic and reconstructive surgery.

Currently Dr. Federico Hernández Alfaro (Pamplona 1964) is a Director of the Teknon Medical Centre’s Maxillofacial Institute and Head of the Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Department of the International University of Catalonia (UIC), author of various books: “Bone Grafting in Oral Implantology”, “Controversial Topics in Implant Dentistry” distributed throughout the world, and “Cirugía Avanzada en Implantes”. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Hernández Alfaro has given more than 100 lectures and courses at international events on Orthognathic Surgery and Dental Implants.
